HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SNOW BINDINGS

As with boards and boots, manufacturers give a flex value to each of their snowboard bindings, which will depend on the materials used for the design. To make the best choice, the first feature to consider is your riding style. Beginners and freestyleenthusiasts, who have logically opted for a low flex board and soft boots, will also turn to flexible bindings. More error-tolerant, they're also easier to twist to send your different tricks.

If you are destined for freeride, rigid snowboard bindings will be more suited to your practice.
